Geoff
Peck

Independent Non-Executive Director and Board Chair

Geoff was appointed as a Director on 6 December 2019 and was appointed Board Chair on 18 December 2019

Full Bio

Geoff is an independent Non-Executive Director of Aracon Superannuation Pty Ltd, and the current Chair of the Aracon Board having been appointed on 6 December 2019. Geoff is also a member of the Aracon Investment Committee.
Geoff is currently the Head of Client Development at Chant West, a pre-eminent provider of research on the Australian superannuation industry.

Geoff has over 30 years’ experience in the superannuation and insurance industries, including over 15 years in executive roles, and 4 years as a non-executive director and Chair of the Board Audit Committee with a major life insurer. His career has included senior positions at the BT Financial Group, Russell Investments, AIA Australia and CBA.

Geoff holds a Bachelor of Science, a Fellow of the Institute of Company Directors, a Fellow of ASFA and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary.

Hayden

Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit, Risk, Compliance and Complaints Committee

Alan was appointed as a Director on 30 March 2015 and appointed as the Chair of Aracon from 2015 until 31 October 2018. See Alan’s full biography below.

Alan is a Non-Executive Director of Aracon and current Chair of the Audit, Risk, Compliance and Complaints Committee. Alan was appointed as a Director on 30th March 2015. Alan served as the Chair of Aracon from 2015 until 31 October 2018.

Alan holds a Bachelor of Commerce; Bachelor of Accountancy; Higher Diploma in Company Law; RG146 Compliant; Chartered Accountant, Australia and has external compliance committee and responsible manager appointments, with a depth of experience in the funds management industry.

Christine
Cameron

Non-Executive Director

Christine is an independent Non-Executive Director of Aracon Superannuation Pty Ltd and a member of the Aracon Investment Committee having been appointed on 19 June 2020.

Full Bio

Christine has over 30 years’ management and leadership experience with some of Australia’s leading financial services brands and globally recognised institutions including AMP, MLC, Russell Investments and Maple-Brown Abbott.

Christine is currently a Director of Neuroscience Research Australia Foundation (NeuRA) and is a member of Maple-Brown Abbott’s Asset Allocation Committee.

Christine holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons-Econ) from Macquarie University, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance (ASIA), is a Trustee Associate from the Association of Superannuation Funds Australia (TAASFA) and a Graduate of the Australia Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

Stieg

Head of Trustee Office

Brian has over 40 years’ experience in the Financial Services, Trustee and Superannuation sectors.

Brian has over 40 years’ experience in the Financial Services, Trustee and Superannuation sectors.

Prior to joining Xplore Wealth as the Head of Trustee Office in September 2018, Brian spent over 10 years at Diversa Trustees in the capacity of Head of Trustee Services. Prior to that, he was CEO of Super Managers Australia, a superannuation administration business and has held other senior positions at CCI Investment Management, NSP Buck, ASFA and IOOF Trustees.

Brian has a deep understanding and knowledge in the trustee, superannuation and funds management sectors. He has also been involved in the investment and management of trust funds and the development and marketing of investment products.

Brian holds a Bachelor of Business and a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) and is a Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants.

Craig
Giffin

Chief Risk Officer

Craig has over 30 years’ experience in executive director level business management roles and in global and APAC leadership and director roles within Financial Services.

Craig has over 30 years’ experience in executive director level business management roles and in global and APAC leadership and director roles within Financial Services.

Craig has extensive global experience having held executive regional and global roles in risk management and compliance including at Barclays Global Investors, Fortis Investments, BNP Paribas and St. George Bank. He has also held roles as Head of Risk Management, Compliance, Legal and Trustee Services at OneVue Limited and Executive Head of Risk, Compliance, Legal and Governance for Australia and New Zealand at Nikko Asset Management Limited.

Craig has MBA program qualifications from the Australian Graduate School of Management and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a member of the Institute of Public Accountants and an Associate of the Institute of Financial Accountants. Craig is also a Fellow of the Securities Institute of Australia.

Superannuation and Compliance Manager

Anita has over 20 years’ experience within Financial Services, most significantly within the superannuation sector.

Before joining Xplore, Anita held positions including Risk & Governance Manager at Prime Super, Compliance Analyst at UniSuper, Compliance Business Partner at Mercer and Superannuation Trustee Officer at AXA Australia.

Anita holds a Bachelor of Business, Diploma of Risk Management & Business Continuity, Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Superannuation) and has been accredited with ASIC’s RG 146 requirements.

Walsh

Company Secretary

Anthony has over 30 years’ experience within Financial Services, most significantly within the superannuation and managed investment scheme arenas.

Anthony has over 30 years’ experience within Financial Services, most significantly within the superannuation and managed investment scheme arenas.

Before joining Xplore Wealth in 2013, Anthony held senior positions at the JM Financial Group, Westpac Financial Services and Perpetual Funds Management specialising in compliance and regulatory functions.

Anthony holds a Bachelor of Laws (University of NSW), a Bachelor of Arts (University of NSW) and an ASFA Diploma of Superannuation. Anthony also holds an Australian Legal Practicing Certificate as a Corporate Legal Practitioner.

Anthony is Company Secretary of Aracon Superannuation Pty Ltd and is also Company Secretary of all Xplore Wealth subsidiary companies.
